This compact Gas Powered Rotary Hammer Drill will allow users
to drill rock and concrete in almost any environment (always use with
proper ventilation in enclosed areas). Besides being highly effective
at drilling holes in the drill/hammer mode the tool easily switches to
rotary only or hammer only modes and also has a unique feature allowing
users to rotate SDS shank chisels to a preferred angle before using in
the hammer only mode. Packaged in a blow molded case which includes 3
SDS+ drill bits (6, 8, and 10 mm), SDS+ chisel and moil point, depth
gauge, manual, service tools, and fuel mixing bottle. Highly
recommended for back country projects especially where electric power
is not easily available and lots of holes will be required. Absolutely
the best gas powered SDS rotary-hammer drill currently in production!
Rotary hammer drills are the best
tools for drilling holes required by Micro-Blaster System in both
concrete as well as stone. Tools labeled "Hammer Drills" and having a 3
jaw chuck should be avoided as they will take many times longer to
establish the required holes. Make sure the drill you intend to use
takes a SDS+ shank drill bit and use only 5/16 inch diameter drill bits
with your Micro-Blaster System.

Super tough and dependable unit, this 115 volt
rotary hammer drill can
be used with generators, inverters (use units 1.5 times rated power
input) and of course 115 volt outlets. Extension cords should be as
short as practical to avoid voltage drop which can cause power loss and
overheating. If users own generators, this is the least expensive
professional tool from Hilti for use with your Micro-Blaster system. Highly

This air powered Rotary Hammer Drill is the ultimate tool for drilling
holes for the Micro-Blaster System, especially if you need to drill a
lot of them. Unit includes SDS+ chuck for use with our 5/16" drill
bits, variable throttle for 0-3000 blows per minute with an out put of
.7 HP at 90 psi. Capable of drilling up to 1" dia. holes in concrete
and manufactured in Germany to exacting specifications it is available
in an UNDERWATER VERSION (Manufacturers #: 2 2404 0030, part#: 2 2404
0010 shown above for use out of water). Why are we selling an
underwater version? Because we have an adapter kit in the works to
allow the Micro-Blaster II system to be used under water at depths of
20 ft. Hopefully available by September '07
SDS+ DRILL BITS FOR MICRO-BLASTER I & II
Many of our customers have had problems finding the proper 5/16" dia.
drill bits for their Micro-Blaster Systems. We now stock 2 models which
will produce the required holes. The shorter of the 2 models shown
above will drill up to 12" deep holes for double cartridge shots and is
marked with a red stripe at 10" from the tip for single cartridge
shots. The longer bit pictured has the capability of drilling up to 16"
deep which will allow users the option of using 1, 2, 3, or up to 4
cartridges per shot. This bit also has a longer lasting carbide tip
which should give excellent service in even the hardest materials.
Micro-Blaster II Air Tank
When
charged with 120 psi of air will reliably trigger three Micro-Blaster
II Heads simultaneously. Easily recharged in the field with Bicycle
Tire Pumps between shots and provides extreme portability for working
in remote areas. Materials: Powder Coated Steel Tank, Brass Fittings.
Dimensions Overall: 8"Lx6”Dx7.25"H (228x152x184mm) Max Pressure: 150
psi Max. Capacity: 0.5 Gal. Weight: 4 lbs.
PowerBright™ 1100 WATT POWER INVERTER
This accessory allows the use of 115 VAC Rotary
Hammer Drills in almost any location you can get your vehicle,
including ATV's with 12 VDC systems. Easily attached to a vehicle
battery with the included cable and clips or the inverter can be
permanently mounted inside your vehicle (4 gauge cable recommended for
permanent installation). Supplied with automatic overload protection,
thermal protection, polarity protection and a switched voltage/wattage
display, this unit's advanced features will insure years of trouble
free service. Inverter comes complete with attachment cables, a spare
set of fuses and manual. Warranty by manufacturer: 1 year against
defects.
TIP: We recommend a minimum 14 gage grounded (3
prong) extension cord
for runs up to 50 ft. For longer runs use a 12 gauge cord up to 100 ft.
This unit will also power a small 115 VAC Compressor for recharging
your air source in the field. Very handy when working in remote areas.
Check label on compressor to determine max. power required and do not
overload inverter.
Other than drilling, the most tedious aspect to using your
Micro-Blaster is the hole cleaning process. To speed up this operation
we have developed the blow gun assembly seen above. Equipped with a
1/4" quick connect plug (Industrial Interchange, same as our manifold
hose connector), a 5 ft. air hose, a lever valve and a 9.5" long, 1/4"
dia. stainless tube, the unit will quickly and thoroughly clear the
dust from drilled holes in just one or two seconds. Since its use is
intermittent only a small compressor, capable of 100 psi output, is
required for operation.
!!!SAFETY NOTICE!!!
THIS BLOW GUN ASSEMBLY IS NOT OSHA COMPLIANT AS IT DOES NOT LIMIT
PRESSURE AT THE NOZZLE TO 30 PSI
CARE SHOULD BE USED NOT TO DIRECT OUTPUT AT PERSONNEL. ALWAYS WEAR
APPROVED EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING THIS AND OTHER EZEBREAK PRODUCTS
WORK SAFELY AND CRACK WISELY!
Air Tank Conversion
Kit
If you already have your own air tank you may need components to
connect the Micro-Blaster to your tank. For your convenience we have
put together a kit containing the above components.
Ask your Dealer or Ezebreak for the Air Tank Conversion Kit (Part#
MBIIx3-ATCK) if you cannot easily find these components locally. Click here for detailed instructions and tips.
